Did not see any of the members of the Class of 1967 anywhere on the site......we were quite rebellious, so I'm not surprised. Nice to see the names and remembrances after all these years. I was lucky enough to go to Watkins Glen in the early 80's and saw the building just before it was torn down. I was upset for a long time after that. I stopped in again about 12 years ago and had a nice visit with Father Austin while he was living in the Guest House. I had just been at Tom Malina's winery and I gave a few bottles to Fr. Austin, and he was quite appreciative. About 2 years ago, I went on a Middle States Evaluation to a boarding school about an hour from Albany. It was run exactly like Padua (except it was affiliated with the Anglican Church), and I felt right at home. The funny thing is that the school was ready to close in the early '70's, but the board of directors decided to go coed and they were able to keep the place going. We were told that it took about 25 more years to become in the black. When we attended morning chapel, I felt like I was 16 again. Life has such strange twists. Anyway, I'm glad I found this site and Padua was a special place and will always be part of my life.
